¡Felicidades!

This is a great day for you as an illustrator, and for me in my first venture into writing children's books.

I wrote the first draft of this book about ten years ago while I was commuting by train to part-time jobs, and I am now amazed that my words have been published and illustrated so beautifully.

I may not be totally objective on this issue, but I believe that a copy of at least one version of The Best Mariachi in the World/El Mejor Mariachi del Mundo should be in every school, library and home in the Americas.
